Thursday, August 9

At 5:30 PM on Thursday, those of us who are in Charlottesville will be meeting at Boylan Heights on the Corner for burgers and drinks. Boylan Heights is located at the intersection of University Ave. and 14th Street. We will plan to meet upstairs.

Friday

The session schedule is in this public Google Spreadsheet. It will be edited Friday morning between 9:30 and 10:30 while participants decide which proposals they would like to attend.

Depending on the number of sessions, there will either be two 75 minute sessions in the afternoon (with 3 or 4 locations per session period) with a break in between or three 60 minute sessions.

Dork Shorts

Finally, during lunch on Friday: Dork Shorts! These are two-minute elevator-pitch presentations where you’ll have the opportunity to introduce current projects, invite participants into a project, show a cool site, etc. These are even more informal than the regular sessions and the point is to do the introduction—folks can follow up with you afterwards for details. You’ll have access to a computer to show websites. Signups will be available on Friday morning.
